Skiing Legends: the Back 40

One of the scoops from Neil and Catharine’s book Skiing Legends and the Laurentian Lodge Club was the discovery that the tow-rope was invented at Shawbridge back in the 30’s. This contraption revolutionised skiing and set off the global boom in the sport. Here is an article in french on this invention.
