Canadian political post: 1984 election debate

Here the debate between John Turner, Brian Mulroney and Ed Broadbent is discussed. Patronage and free choice for abortion are two prominent subjects. A conversation is had with Dalton Camp and there is a newsflash that bill 101 is found unconstitutional by the courts. Neil remarks that if the patronage issue doesn’t abate then “Turner is in considerable trouble”.

Do you remember this election or this debate and what are your thoughts?
