SHOULD CANADA HAVE A LAW GOVERNING ABORTION?

Today the House of Commons is debating a private member’s bill about whether a fetus is a human being.

NDP leader Thomas Mulcair charges this is the Conservative’s way of smuggling the abortion issue back onto the public agenda.

Canada is one of the few western countries that has no law whatsoever governing abortion.

Should Canada have a law governing abortion?

What do you think?

We have enough laws about abrotion already. So, no.

I agree with Tom Mulcair. I couldn’t have said it better.
I think that Canada should have a law against Harperism.

Am I hearing things? Harper is going to vote against the bill to renew the abortion debate. It’s a miracle.

    1) Women who abort a child, will answer for it later
    2) Abortion should be performed, and done so retroactively, onto those who actively support it .

Fortunately, this is a women’s issue. Absolutely, specifically, uniquely and definitively. “Men need not apply”.

Curious to know what “answer” Jim is bent on dispensing to his (1) — as opposed to the answer they get when they don’t — but not curious enough to ask him. Somebody else wanna poke him about it? ;D

I propose that for every abortion there should be a castration. Both have life long effects. And why is it always men heading the anti abortion debate?

Patti, possibly because the men who do that think they will become “immortal” if they pass on their genes to the future? That’s what they’ve been told, anyway, and they believe it. Women know that not to be true. ;D

    Ah, Immortality. T’is a lofty goal! ;-)
