SHOULD OBAMA BE IN RIO?

Should the most powerful man in the world be traipsing around South America and enjoying the flesh pots of Rio de Janiero. Remember Obama is commander-in-chief, he heads the world most powerful economy, he is a world-class orator, he is president and head of state.
Remember too what is on his desk in the Oval Office.

He is running two wars against Muslim states, he has begun another war against Libya. Japan, one of great allies, is crumbling and he is nowehere to to be found when it comes to the debt crisis.

Is this anyway to run a railroad?

An official from the White House said this was a business trip. Do you know of any businessman who takes his wife, two little children and his mother-in-law on a business trip. Give me a break!

Obama is paid to lead?

Where is the leadership when he is on another continent?

Should Obama be in Rio?

What do you think?

I don’t see any problem with him taking his family along. My father, a biz exec back in the day, did this sometimes too. A lot of them do, actually. I’m certainly not concerned about the President being on travel.

As for the POTUS being away from the Oval Office during all of these problems, I don’t think he was on the ball at times before he left for So. America. In fact, members of both parties have been critical of his lack of engagement on the economy lately. He needs to get a handle on a bunch of issues, but I’m not sure being on travel in So. America is a problem. He does seem to be getting some things done while there. The problem is less the location than what is getting done generally.

thefreedictionary.com defines “flesh pot” as follows:

    flesh·pot (flshpt)
    n.
    1. A district or an establishment offering sensual pleasures or entertainment. Often used in the plural.
    2. Physical or sensual gratification.

Do tell, Neil! I’m not privy to these revelations. What exactly is Barry doing while Michelle and the girls are meeting with dignitaries, attending choir recitals at girls’ schools, and waving to the crowds?

Is he sunning himself on the clothing optional section of Copacabana Beach?

Perhaps he is patronizing the lurid underage sex trade that Brazil is becoming known for, that some say is now on a par with Thailand?

Or maybe he’s just your run-of-the-mill, old-fashioned John looking for a quickie in the Missionary Position.

Enquiring minds want to know, Neil, and I await your revelations…

Tony, it was a typical use of my penchant for hyperbole. Like he Biblee not to be taken literally.

Since we’re talking about Obama, Neil, I just heard Dennis Kucinich call for inquiries into impeachment over Obama’s foray into yet another Muslim country.

How do you feel about that?

    Neil McKenty Says:

Obama might have been wise to consult Congress before starting a military action against Libya.

Who wants to listen to Kucinich? His words have no weight. He is being ousted by way of gerrymandering. Although he is a traitor I have not seen where he has used the word “impeachment” with regard to the President.

Tony – The last time we communicated you shot yourself in the foot twice. This time you have raised your hackles for naught because if you listen to Kucinich carefully he refused to answer if he would party to an impeachment. Your video clearly indicates that when the interviewer asked him the first time about impeachment, he answered “impeachment is a process and that’s a whole different thing”. When asked a second time he answered “that’s a totally different question, and I’m not prepared to get into right now” Nuff said. BTW – How are things in the land of the flattops?
